Shelly Pizzi with Black & Veatch did a fantastic presentation on health hazards in construction focusing on chemical hazards, hexavalent chromium, lead asbestos and physical hazards. She also information on the current silica standard and the proposed changes to the standard. We greatly appreciate Shelly taking the time to provide this presentation for our group.

CSG received the sad news of the closing of the Safety Council of the Ozarks after almost 40 years in business. The closing is effective 1/30/15.

CSG will be conducting interviews at UCM on March 31st and Pittsburg State on April 22nd to determine scholarship recipients.
The 2014 Darwin Award winners were presented in the meeting.
