President Tom Ruzicka opened the meeting with introductions and appreciation to all in attendance and to those who made the December Christmas Luncheon a success.
The financial report was provided by Vice-President Sharon Mount. Sharon announced more membership dues have been collected earlier this year than any past year at this time.
Tom announced the Missouri One Call System will be sponsoring several 2016 Excavator Safety Meetings around the state. Click on the following link for more information. https://www.mo1call.com/meetings/safety.php
The Annual CSG Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for September 23, 2016 at the Shoal Creek Golf Club. Details will be on the CSG website soon. www.csgkc.org/
Jim Leach announced that American Riggers is once again sponsoring a Rigging Seminar on January 26th at the Reardon Center in KC, KS. Jim passed out brochures at the meeting or you can register through the attached announcement.
Two upcoming safety conferences were announced:
The Safety Conference & Exposition at Tan Tar A presented by the Safety & Health Council of Western Missouri and Kansas will be held May 18th through the 20th. Registration and information can be found at http://www.shcmoks.com/.

Todays presentation was made by Jim Pickel, Safety Director of the Year for 2010 and Chuck Rutledge, Safety Director of the year for 2015. Best Safety Practices were discussed which included many questions and comments from the audience. Like last year, this presentation was well received and attended. Thanks Jim and Chuck!
