Thank you for attending the November 2016 meeting at Manny's Mexican Restaurant located at 207 SW Blvd KCMO. On behalf all of the CSG members we would like to thank Dr. Daryl Thomas of U.S. Healthworks for speaking at our November meeting about Case Compression – working quickly and effectively to arrive at the best outcome in the shortest possible time.
The meeting was called to ordered by our new president Sharon Mount, with a well deserved thanks to Tom Ruzicka for all of his hard work and dedication to the CSG. Steve Ratliff was is the new VP of the CSG. Stephen Reynolds was named the recording Secretary for the 2017 year.
As a reminder, forms are now available for submitting your dues for the 2017 year. Dues can be paid by check or by using the attached credit card form and submitting it to Connie Kapfer at firstname.lastname@example.org, mailing it to “Construction Safety Group of Kansas City, 720 Oak Street, Kansas City, MO 64106 or bringing it to the next regularly scheduled CSG meeting. Dues will once again be $75 for the year. I encourage each of you to consider using the pre-pay option by paying the additional $200 up front and avoiding having to pay the usual $20 at each lunch meeting and having to submit your receipts to your company for reimbursement. I personally use this option and find it very convenient.
Next month's Construction Safety Group meeting is our Christmas/Holiday Lunch which will be held at Cascone’s Italian Restaurant located at 3737 N. Oak Trafficway, Kansas City, Mo. at 11:30 on FRIDAY, December 9th. The meeting was moved from the first Friday in December to the second Friday in December so the CSG could utilize the private room in the back. Our attendance for the holiday lunch for the past couple of years has been really good and we wanted to be more comfortable in a larger space. The only order of business on our agenda for this meeting is to network and celebrate the Christmas season.
